TOUR DESCRIPTION

Day 1 

• We pick you up from your accommodation and then head out to our trek starting point west of the small town of Chiang Dao. Get ready for some exertion as the first day of trekking is mostly up hill in a hot and humid tropical climate. Along the route we will stop for a refreshing shower at a jungle waterfall and lunch before we proceed to Mae Mae Village high in the hills. On arrival in the village you will be free to explore or unwind in the stunning Tree house Village accommodation which is perched on the hill side overlooking the thick forest below. Dinner will be prepared for you by the local Shan villages and the rest of the evening you can chill out and enjoy the cool air up in the mountains.

Day 2 

• After breakfast we will make a visit to the local hill tribe school to see how the local kiddies are taught, and then continue on with the trek. We will trek a further 2 hours to the pick up point where we will drive down the mountain to the bike starting point and our lunch stop. After lunch you will start cycling. The bike route will follow relatively flat tracks and roads near the Ping River. The countryside here is made up mostly of farming communities and small villages and is the perfect way to experience this beautiful part of northern Thailand. On route we will stop to visit Banden Temple. At he end of the day you will board the transport for the drive back to Chiang Mai.
