TOUR DESCRIPTION
Put the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai behind you for a few hours and take this relaxing cruise on the cool of waters of the Mae Ping River. You’ll see Chiang Mai from a different perspective as the scenes unfold before you and you enjoy magnificent teak houses, wooded areas and local folks going about their day. Our stop at the farm will permit you to witness the cultivation of jasmine rice as well as a panoply of herbs for use in food and medicine. We will stop and enjoy seasonal fresh fruit and refreshing juices of lemon-grass and other herbs available. This is the ideal tour to take a break from the city and to enjoy something truly different.
ITINERARY
- Pickup from your hotel in Chiang Mai. 10:00 (14:00 afternoon)
- Short drive to the boat pier in Chiang Mai.
- Cruise on the Mae Ping River.
- Stop off at a farmers house.
- Return cruise back into Chiang Mai.
- Return to your hotel in Chiang Mai by minibus. 12:00 (16:00 afternoon)
